BF1942 is one of the worst games I have ever had the chance to play. Its the only game that I know of where tank drivers are snipers just waiting for you to pick your heads up, driving into ANYTHING at 5 MPH WILL result in an explosion, explosions kill you either not at all or a mile away.

Seriously I was watching this bomber going down over a sand dune so far away, then came the explosion, then came my chunks raining down from the heavens, and I was on the ground like a mile away. There are just to many flaws in that game for me to ever give it my vote, mine goes to ESF of course.
