Pirates Online

Has anyone tried this or heard about it yet? Pirates of the Caribbean Online. You can make your own pirate, buy your own ship, command your sailors and kick ass in the Caribbean. I'm downloading it right now. Get it Here.

Wow, that thing looks incredibly ugly!
I mean, the graphics would be fine if it were and indie game but for a "professional" game this is just the worst possible quality.
The models looks awfull, textures are low res, the lighting/shadow system of that engine looks incredibly bad, the animations are horrible

Its just like Uwe Boll and movies based on games, just the other way around.......

Well, you know what they say: You get what you pay for...And in this case, nothing.

Too bad really, because a POTC mmo would actually have possibilities, but if the quality is as bad as I'm hearing, then it's all a waste.

There's another option if you want a decent pirate game: Pirates of the Burning Sea. Imo it's not fantabulous, but since most of you aren't as picky as I am, you should enjoy it.
