PING ISSUES

hey was sup guys. i seem to be having ping issues in the all of the servers. for example last night i was on the ZR server and i usually get about a nice 9-12 ping there but for sumreason ma ping was going up to like 300+ then goes back down to 12 and up too 100, it just kept going up and down like that. its like this when i play CS and CS:S but when i play any other games that i have on ma comp (non-steam games) my ping and fps are fine. can anyone help me plz

ping depends on your net speed. To increase your ping check the following:

1. turn off antivirus in background.
2. Go to steam, rightclick all games and then turn off the auto-update settings for them.
3. Turn off active downloads ie all torrents and download managers.
4. Turn off windows auto-update
That sums it up i think.


Well Ping is related only to net games. Games on ur pc dont exchange info with the internet servers so... no question of ping.
