Picollo And , Cell special attacks- cell saga.

In dragon ball z cell saga , picollo fighting against no.17 , then cell is show up , and try to absorb no.17 - that's the first suggestion , i mean cell can absorb people to take the power from people or androids , its would to be cool.

Picollo did some STRONG attack in this episode , cell is coming to him and picollo put his and on the middle and create some strange and strong beam that even no.17 was scared about it.

Its strong attack.

So think about the absorb and the attack.

You have to remember that everyone knows that this is what cell is famous for, i'm pretty sure the developers have given this a fair amount of thought?

Its called Makosen. Dubbed hellzone grenade in the english version. Its already planned though.

As for Cells absorbtion. If you have any ideas on how to make it fair, balanced and not make it suck in a game as fast as ESF, out with it. Cause we couldnt think of any that would warrant putting it in as an attack.

That attack looked like a ki blast to me :p. Absorption's a nice idea on paper but would probably get annoying and disrupt the flow. Imagine getting stopped by someone trying to absorb you repeatedly.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Grega. Was I looking at the right section of the video?

So.. , is this good enough ?

That'd make kill stealing pretty easy. DDR style arrows didn't work too well in Advanced Melee, I'm not certain people will want to see them come back.

Ok i thought about this , The absorb will be like this:

Example i take the absorb attack and go to somebody then we getting in to a meele fighting , if i win i can absorb his power , but he can resist by doing the keys arrow combination,over and over till he die's, they keys combination will be totally random.

So.. , is this good enough ?

No more arrows, no more direction pressing to dodge or anything silly and game slowing like that. We also will not be adding any arrows into any other systems in the game. So that idea goes down the river.

Well personally I was thinking that for Absorb you give it a 2 minute cooldown, 1/4 of their PL, and if you are hit while doing it you get stunned for 2 seconds.

1. The opponent should be low HP. ( 30 or less).
2. The opponent has to be with low stamina .

I switch to absorb attack and try to stab him ( o_O ) , If i success so i will win, I will take the most power i can till he die's.
The opponent can run away by teammate or about to teleport.

No cool down timers please. We are trying to make the game natural and such timers make it unnatural.

By click with the mouse XD.. , Example i click the left mouse he stab if he miss the tail will go back , but the cell energy will go down , so he wont "spamming".

The absorb will take - stamina .

Sounds like Ultimate Tenkaichi Gameplay to me which isn't that great or suited for ESF.

Is there tier system alright ? ,
Every charachter has its own tier's - i think.

So cell tier 2 is the absorb.. , And its all about the stamina , if opponent has low stamina so the attacker(cell)have more chance to success the absorb.

It's should be sounds like tenkaichi , after all they both are DBZ Game's.
Tenkaichi is based on a 2D fighter with button masher mechanics, ESF is based on a First Person Shooter, with a third person camera with areal outmanevering mechanics.

You can not compare the 2. Its like comparing Half Life to Mortal Combat.

Grega , I know what you mean ... But Tenkaichi and ESF they both about Dbz...

Think about what i have said , about the tier 2.

And , Piccolo can regeneration ..

I hope that you guys will figure out how to make the absorb system , since its little on you XD.

I am going to buy HL1 very soon , Hope ESF will be great :p. (1.2.3 , is great too :) ).
