WIP does not only mean work in progress, it alo stands for that it needs adjustments.

yes magus, i realize it's WIP, but why put a pic of week on there with the totally wrong size and color? it doesnt make sense for a WIP to be wrong color and stuff, and why BLUE?! get my point?

You should be thankful they're giving us something. The fact that it's the wrong size and colour is what essentially makes it a WIP. If it was the right size and colour it wouldn't be a WIP anymore would it?!

As for it being WIP/wrong colour/wrong point, i'm just thankful we're actually getting POTW's now, it's been ages since we've seen anything there. Besides, despite it's shortcomings, it looks cool.

his flamethrower is a GENERIC BEAM SO AS NORMAL ITS BLUE AND SSJ ITS YELLOW

if you think back on the show he was ssj when he used this

Yeah but generic beams were never blue in the first place, it was either a quick-fired Kamehameha (they don't always chant) or it was yellow. Where the team got the idea they were blue I have no idea. Ergo, the 'flamethrower' is yellow in both forms.

Wow... Ok first off.... I really think thats WIP means WIP not "this is what its going to look like soo hahah! We just screwed with you!" I never knew people could flip out on somehting very small... Im just glad that they are putting in more moves for trunks seeing as how he is my favorite and I 0wn with him! Also its going to be a very long time before the testing is done. I say 2 months or more before they are finished....

I think it looks good so far, yeah it needs to be adjusted allot but that is why it is a WIP.

Right now i'm doing all the ESF sprites. In the past Zero used to handle all the attack/fx sprites, but hasn't been able to for a long time. All the 1.2 attack sprites were done by Zero, the HUD was created by Vassago, and the select sprites were done by myself.

lol, i know where ur comming from, but the flame thrower was used by nearly everyone in dbz... meh thinks it shud be generic, but i guess no1 else agrees

Its looking spiffy, but in the series it wasnt a mix of yellow and red, it was yellow and white >_>

If we make the attack generic then that will take away a little bit of trunks' uniqueness. The flame attack is perfect for Trunks' attack set because he is a melee/close range fighter in ESF. We try to stick as close to the show as possible, but not if it effects gameplay. :0)


Hars and I were messing with the attack a little more today so here's a little update.

yar meh knows, its just one of my favourate attacks in the series =P and i'd have liked to have been able to use it often >_> but it does make sense that trunks gets this attack =].

The update looks sexy as hell, i dont like the red/orange on the edge (in places) as the yellow is too wide >_< if there was more white it'd look perfect. Over all it looks much, much better now, i like how it flares out too, very true to the show, the only problem is, its still origniating from his crotch

Ya, it's still a wip. Hars is in the process of optimizing it so that there is a minimal fps drop, if any at all.

Its starting to look better! The problem with making an attack like this, as I see it, is that you never see how far the attack goes in the show, so to see it stop looks funny. Vegeta used something like it to kill Jese (the Auzzie guy, whatever his name was) and it goes far, but thats too hard to impliment into a game.

Anyway, lookin good!
