Peter Molonuex leaves Microsoft and Lionhead

Peter Molonuex has decided to quit Lionhead and Microsoft after Fable: The Journey and will start up ANOTHER company (His 3rd) Called 22 Cans

Not sure if this is good or bad, Maybe he will start thinking again instead of just making Fable's

Him and Gabe have to be my top 2 developers. Hopefully this restores his freedom

I truly enjoyed the first fable, but thats about it. But yeah, hopefully he'll be able to make something truly innovative now that he is free of Publisher constraints.

A large portion of my top games come from his brain. Either Bullfrog or Lionhead

Populous: The Beginning
Dungeon Keeper (To a lesser extent number 2)
Black and White 1 & 2
Fable (I actually like all 3)

I wasn't a fan of The Movies but it was a good idea

He's a great man, great ideas just sometimes poorly executed.

His problem is he promises the world.

Right up until release...and sometimes after release...

When people are already aware about 80% of the features he claimed aren't in his games.

It's not really his fault, he just...set some unrealistic expectations in his hype speech.

I loved the Fable series. Fable: Lost Chapters will always be my favorite. Jack was such an awesome boss no matter what.

Fable was good but it's all Peter and lionhead have done for ages.

He needs to work on new ideas
