The head/face is way to small in compairason to his erhm horns or something. Especially from the side.
Start with prolonging his chin and then try to smallen the horns
His neck also has to be much longer and much thicker.

Another thing is he looks to square. And that doesn't only concern the wireframe version. ;)
The whole body shape looks squarish.

@David: yeah i agree with mastasurf here. If you don't put detail and correct proportions into it, it isn't of any good use a drawover like that. Ofcourse I'm not saying my method is better ;p It's just that it has a lot of flaws now. For instance his head totally doesn't look right.

for that many polys, you have absolutly no details in the neck. Neck is way to short. The head overall looks like a kid. Cell has a longer, tall head. Yours is squished. And your poly placement makes hideous shadows.

i can see some funny edges sticking out the top of his horns (like there misplaced or something)
right now, its very flat, not alot of detail to the new esf models that are going to be used (i would of expected something like this cell back in beta 1.0)

the head looks badly modeled, like CJ says the placement of the polys is giving of bad shadows.
but here is what else i see
Head to small, arms not buff enough (am sure you will fix the arms)

Buff him up more, he looks sick right now.
legs to thin,

the midsection is really poorly defined, you should take the 5 fingers away (use mits), and put all those polys into creating a proper mid section, also there are a few minor tweaks i would like to see done to the polystructure, but it's hard to describe them, so just hit me up on AIM and i'll try and show ya what i mean :p.

the sticking out things inbetween his legs and crotch should be, more sticking-out, take a look at this huge ref pic
http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/sweaves/images/dbz800/cell.jpg
als othe shin-pads arent there, they should be sticking out now just part of his body, same with the weird gap between his body and lower body, it would look alot better definied in the model than skinned and would not use up many polys.
also dont forget he had a gap between his shoulder and his neck, they werent once peice. it was like he had a shoulder pad.
and his feet just, dont look right. the round circle thingy should be on his ankle, and the lower leg should overlap the shoe less.
also, look at the ref i posted again and see how at the top of his man boobs they go inward, they dont just have a tiny little pike inwards, they're real sticking out man boobs like a human.

I think the model is absolutely marvelous. Just keep doing what you are doing and what you think looks good. I believe in you Masta!

blehh, I still think the poly structure is horrific. But it looks ok smooth.
I agree with clipseh, the mit style hands will lower the polycount alot,
depends on how many polys are in the hands ATM. I don't wanna be
mean or anything, but I think it should be remodeled :(.

This is the angle that matters the most. I think i'm going to stick with the hands instead of a adding model definition to the torso since you will see them more. Enix, can you give me specific examples? I'll post some head/neck updates later. I was able to chop a decent amount of polys out and remove some of the odd shadows.

I still think its rather ugly and poorly made. It would be good for a custom model, but I dunno if I would use it in a game like esf. Looks low quailty. The torso is just so screwed up and the legs have no definition at all. The head and neck needs to be redone. And I would follow eclipses crits with the hands. Use polys were you need more definition, like neck and torso.

The neck/sholders area needs some tweaks, you need to lower the 'colar bone' part above his chest and drop his sholders a little.

The Legs are too thin, revamp them so they look like they're bulky strong legs, as well as the arms. Actually, IMHO, he needs to be a bit more bulky all around.

hey, i think the model looks good, some of u people on here really have no say in criticing this model. Masta is no pro at this, you should take it a little bit easier on him...i get the impression some of u are giving him more grief on this model then what he needs...i feel its disrespectful....he needs motivational criticing....and not be so blunt....masta it looks great bro, keep practicing and just keep the love for art in your life and u'll do just fine bro. later
