This model is going to be used in ESF, so if you see anything that's off now would be the time to speak up. I'm looking for serious crits only.

Looks ok, but needs alot of work. Mainly the face, it needs some reworking.
Can we have a close up pick of the face? I would like to do a drawover.

looking good, but those wing things or whatever u call them should get wider as it moves up and get thinner as they move down

i think, before anyone goes mad, that we have to remember theres a 1500 triangle limit, and that skinners like kama and ravenblade can do amazing work on models.

you already have my crits from aim :)

And also, since the wings dont bend, that second slice in them is pretty usless.
Dunno what the poly limit is, but that might lower it a bit. More polys in the face
and the arms would be better to.

the model looks well plain, i thnk it may be proportion issues but the shape just doesnt look right to me the arms look strange like they arent right and from the side view the whole thing looks flat
over all the model just looks below average adn well i have 2 questions
1) whats the poly count?
2) who modeled it?

i did a quick drawover =\ its not very good i didnt use any references but meh.. sorry but i think this model has a lot of problems, so dont be shocked wen u see what ive changed

i like that drawover david, just think you did the legs humongous o_0 meaning too thick

I think in your ref david, the legs look good, but I think the shoulders should be more broad, because his upper body is pretty muscular, like his legs (but like I said, you did the legs good).

And I think if the model gets edited to be like that, it will be a real Perfect Cell lol.

nah i think i should have made the shoulders wider and the legs longer, then it'd look right ;)

david on that drawover you made the upper leg a little too think from the side ( come on admit it :p)
also the upper body seems a little small and the head a little short

yeah, ur right about the legs =\, but i still think even on my drawover the head could be a little smaller, cell is a tall character, to create the impression of tallness, you use a smaller head, thats what makes super hero's and villians stand out in a crowd. Normally the body is 7x the length of the head, but with goku its more like 8, and cell its probably 9

Well, I think its alright I guess. For a model around here it looks good, but I dunno if it would really be the same quality as some of the other ESF models. It needs work in a lot of poly areas and just looks really wierd. The head just creeps me out. Reminds me of the old.. ugly... cell model.

Sorry if I sound too harsh. :(

seee david ur first ref looks cool, but the one u just did its thicker o_0 i like that first ref david, but doesn't his wings go down between his shin area? i'm looking at my refs of cell post

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I did a little tweaking on the model tonight. Although the edit was mainly for polycount, which is a little under 2k polys now, I did bulk cell up a tad. DavidSkiwan, I took a look at your drawover. Maybe you could do another one after working from some refrences? The ones you did don't really do me any good. As others have stated before the legs are really thick, especially the lower leg/foot. However, I did make the wings more cupped shape like your drawover, so thank you for that. Enix, here are those close ups you requested. Keep in mind that the model itself shouldn't have a lot of small details since the poly budget won't allow it. Plus I can fake some detail in when I skin it. Your drawover is more than welcome though :0) I'll try and get some full body updates up tomorrow.

theres still a lot of wasted polies that could be taken away if youre going for the 1500 polylimit the neck looks a bit bunched up still for example
