That's the Perfect Cell image they used, the other uses 1.2's models (Trunks and Goku) so I assume they took it themselves.

It's bound to be good for publicity, especially the message that its a fun game even if you dislike the series.

Actually I think the general message was 'DBZ sucks rifl' but they still made the game look good, and that's what's important.

Heh awesome. I only found out about ESF because it was on a disc with a magazine in the days of 1.0. Didn't have internet on my machine then though so no forum and only LAN games with my bro.

Exactly, if they would increase the price because the CD (Including Earth Special Forces), then it would be illegaly if i am not mistaken. Due if they increase the price for the CD included, you'd pay for Earth Special Forces as well.

Did PC Gamer get permission to put it on the CD? If yes, then there might be a problem. If not, then the ESF team didn't know and had no control over it.

Again, there's no ESF material on the DVD, the article's not even listed on the contents page. I guess saying it was 'On the DVD!' was a misprint. Also aside from the publicity (which they'd get if it was posted on a free website) and the ego boost, the team don't profit at all.

Most game mags of the pc veriaty ask the mods PR or Mod leader if it's ok before they add the game to their cover discs.
