OpenGl... Please HELP!!!

Can anyone tell me how to set my computer from Software mode to OpenGl mode??? Please help!

lemme guess... new to halflife? anywaysin the main menu go to configuration then click video then video mode and pick opengl. after u click it the res u want and click done

i got the same error..
if i wanted 2 choose openGL mode in halflife (my direct3d sux) and started a game, a screen came up and said 'your computer doesn't supprt the selected mode'

But i've now downloaded the newest drivers for my videocard(nvidea tnt2) and now it works again.
i've only had this problem with windows XP. maybe it's the same with you..

Go check www.glsetup.com .

Download that program , it will download the opengl driver for the card u have , Restart ur comp and run HL and Woowww opengl will works
