Op. Tien is looking for volunteer animators

OK so here's the deal:

Operation Tien, known by many, I'm sure, had the purpose of implementing Tien in ESF 1.3. It all started nicely, sprites were being done and the anims were on a roll. But then, people started quitting. Now, I am the only one left and I request assistance at the animating area.

If you're interested in helping out, post here, e-mail me, pm me, msn me, send me smoke signals, whatever.

I'd really appreciate any kind of help you have to offer.

The ENTIRE chiaotzu. I'm not sure if Kenny's walk animation is lost or can be gotten from him. I haven't heard from him in quite some time.

Be warned, it's about 120+ animations. So it's not just SOME. But don't worry, we'll do it one step at a time. Thanks. ;)

Anyone else wants to hop in?

i will think about it, i'm not leet skilled or anything but i maybe could handle a few thing well.... but mainly i will think about it because of other projects and real life.

Thanks anyway, means a lot to me. :)

So... anyone else? The more ppl, the better. :) I'll be busy myself because I'm already animating for 2 mods. =X

probably in a month if you're not lazy, but in that age you wont come far hehe so probably in a half year if its possible.

Also animating isnt really related to modeling if want to help out madly, Animating considers of Activities of the Mesh/Person/model you or someone else created. Maybe a few times you have to give him a virtual skeleton and assign/rigg it to the mesh/Person/Model.

Modeling is more about Creating a Shape and some small different important things.

What pixel is trying to say is that animating is much more easy than modelling.

actually not really, animating considers of the skill and the expirience.
its maybe easier to learn though.

lol not one bit.
for modelling you just have to get your refs and follow them and bam with even only a bit of skill you got a good looking model .
for animations , and i mean GOOD animations you have to think how things would flow , how they react to movement and all that stuff. its not really easy xD
but meh i guess we should stay on topic

partwise right,

its all its own tbh, nothing is easier of harder, depends on the person itself and with his/her expirience in everything, Drawer mostly got handier to Modeling because they knew somehow where to place what.
Im not sure about animator, but mostly 2D animator are good at 3D animation aswell.

Like said, it all up to the person.

so you got for now lik 3-4 calls andy, get a list up with the needed animations and list up if a skeleton is needed or not.

Actually the model hasn't been made public and probably won't be made public until the actual release of 1.3 or something like that.
