I just saw my first episode of FLCL. I don't know most of what is going on, I don't know a scrap of the story(except for some kid keeps ejaculating robots out of his head), but it's about 7 gallons of kick-ass in a 2 gallon jug. It takes an amount of kick-ass that most series require entire seasons to generate and compresses it into a 25 min orgy of kick-ass. It's so deliciously over the top and manages to avoid doing things for pure shock value. I am crying a little while writing this. I can't wait for tomorrow night to get here.

I think FLCL had a really good story. It's just really weird. Or as I prefer to describe it: A serious stroy told with a completely non serious execution. If you liked FLCL, you might wanna check out one of Gainax's newer shows, Abenobashi Mahou Shotengai.

Ive seen all of the episodes and it does make sense. Also the characters were perty funny. I like the robot. Hes cool. I like the music as well. I think the music is awsome. So ya its too bad it had only 6 episodes. O well. :yes:

I first saw FLCL a few years ago. It's weird but you love it, especially the last episode. My fav char is either Canti or the eyebrows man

UPDATE: Saw my second episode(3rd in the series I think). This one was a little more dramatic, I think I see what the show is all about now(the part that makes sense anyway). Probably some kind of growing up/coming of age thing about Taku/Nauta(people have referred to the main character by both names).

Not as much TV-faced robot ass kicking, but I made my pants wet when the crazy alien chick was dueling the schoolgirl's legs with a gituar. It's awesome how all the sounds style of serious combat anime are taken and put into such a wierd situation.

And damn the closing animation pwns me.
