It's one person man. I'm sure with the billions of people alive on the planet and huge amount of time we have consumed and still have to consume it had to happen eventually. It's not some sort of sign of the apocalypse, I don't know why people react to these stories so much. I'm sure there are worse things in the world.

I think it's more shocking to me because it's a nearby town of mine.

This kind of stuff makes me feel utter disgust for humanity. When would an animal eat the eyes of its offspring? I mean, lions can eat their young, so can crocodiles, monkeys sometimes do it but they all have reasons and needs for doing so.

Sometimes I feel that we've been cursed with our conscious mind, rather than blessed. This kind of stuff isn't supposed to happen. Ever.
