Several times in the past, I've heard people trying to explain why Obama is the new Hitler. And every single time, I can point out immensely faulty logic within the first 5 seconds of watching their flapping gums (I seriously tried to understand their frame of view). I don't even get why they would choose Hitler - doesn't it make much more sense to go with Stalin? Someone who was actually on the liberal side of the political spectrum? Can someone explain this to me? And isn't it hilarious that liberals were crying the same thing about Bush being a Nazi? Isn't there a point where calling someone a Nazi is about as damaging as calling them fat? It's so tired, illogical, and stupid.

I might be willing to hear some of these people out if they'd stop trying to call him a Nazi and a Socialist in the same sentence. Lots of ppl like to say Hitler was a liberal because at one point the Nazi party was a more liberal party. Until Hitler used them and then got rid of all the liberals. Then went on his international war thing. And purged the liberals :p In the end, the Nazi approach and communist approach were pretty opposite :p But they were still both totalitarian regimes.

LOL, I like Obama. That speech to the students he made was cool. He seems to be pulling every cell of his brain to get your country back running again. BTW MC how can a person be Nazi and Communist at the same time? I thought they were the opposite.

Considering Hitler's skull fragment turned out to be that of a females, I don't think its too farfetched to say Obama is in fact Hitler and not just a Nazi sympathizer.

And that whole Guantanamo thing...
And the war based off false information...

And the most executive orders of any US President in history...

I never called Bush a Nazi. I really did not like him, but throwing around words like "Nazi" is childish. People though that around like it's a nasty word that will really hurt their feelings. Similar to the third grade context of "butthole". At least Bush had legitimate reasons for people to hate/dislike him. And don't even get me how scary **** Chenney's ideas were (seriously.)

Obama is in office for just over half a year and people want to "go back to how the founding fathers had it". Chenney was the man who essentially wanted to treat the Presidenc like a tyrant, but not of these extreme conservatives said **** about that. No, Obama is destroying this country by brain washing our children about socialism.

It was frustrating seeing conservatives praise Bush's every move and be blind to his wrong doings. Now it is scary to see those same people go after Obama for virtually nothing.

Don't get me wrong. Obama has things that people are just not going to agree with, and he is not a saint. He is still a politician. But the legitimate arguments against Obama are getting drowned out by the crazies. I saw a "Rush is right" bumper sticker in Maryland, referring to Rush Limbaugh (spelling?). Rush and Glenn Beck are also scary.

Beck directly accused the President of hating white people (okay Kanye West), based off nothing. People may say "well why weren't you as mad when Kanye said "Bush doesn't care about black people", but Kanye is just a rapper. What he said was stupid. But Glenn Beck is a political pundit. You would think he'd know better.

I don't know. The people in this country can just be so...retarded.

Hitler is pulling a reverse MJ on us, what's next, he'll do the moonwalk? Never knew Hitler was that good with his awesome ninja fly swatting skills though.

Anyone capable of pulling a Houdini and building a Nazi base in Antarctica co-run by Walt Disney (this is exactly what the original Houdini did) is obviously the best there is at what he does. And what he does is beyond me because holy ****, he's the President of the United States now. And probably half cyborg.

Obama's principles or stances- of which he has very few.
I wish there was a facepalm emoticon.

Obama in particular is doing exactly what Hitler did- promising vague, blind hope to desperate and confused people, using socialism as a recruiting tool, claiming he is the only candidate that can fix the economy
The hope Obama promised was basically undoing all the damage Bush did and improving the lives of the middle class.
Obama is not a socialist. He's not using socialism as a recruiting tool. If you're talking about the healthcare plan he's trying to get through, I would direct you here:
http://forum.esforces.com/socialism-bad-t75621.html
Obama didn't claim he was the only one who could fix the economy. However, it was pretty clear that McCain would've continued on the path of Bush, and if he died in office, lord knows what damage Palin would've done.

The true parallels should be noticed America's continually increasing authoritarian laws, the slippery slope to totalitarianism, it's incompetent and mis-informed leaders, the heavily politically involved banking interests and perhaps most of all, it's tendency to subtly promote the well-being of the rich over those of the poor.
You've just described the Republican party.

Yes, Obama supported it.
He didn't support the abuses of it, which is the point of me bringing it up when people say "Bush wasn't so bad."

I find it funny that two people can talk about the same person and come up with different conclusions about said person.
I don't think he's nearly as close to Bush as fortnox has put it (not the exact opposite either), but his 2 cents sounded correct. I know people are going to put their own spin on subjects, but there has to be some concrete, unarguable facts about Obama that would define record as President...Well, of course you have the people who do not let silly things like "facts" sway them, but that's another story.
