kk i need helpp on this review im workin on its math... slope >_<

k these are the questions, ive done half..

a line passes through the points A(1, -3) and B(3, 5). Find:

a) the slope of the line;

a(x1, y1) b(x2, y2)
a(1,-3) b(3, 5)

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
m = (5 - 3)/(3-1)
m = 2/2
m = 1

is this right??

b) the quation of the line in the form y = mx + b

y = mx + b
y = 1x + b
y = 1(3) + b
y = 3 + b
3 = b

y = 1x + 3

is this right?

c) the slope of a line parallel to AB;

HELPPP!!! ASAP

d) the lope of a line perpendicular to AB.

HELPPP!!! ASAP


i just need help on the last to and i need verification on the first thats all, thanks!!! btw this is gr 9 math... yes i failed last year lmfaoo >_<

OMG JOO MORON but fear not i am here
A)slope - 4 remember y2-y1/x2-x1
B)y=mx+b form - 1 = 4(-3) + b
B = 13
C) y = 4x + any number other than 13
D) y=-(1/4)x + 13

your careless mistakes will kill you, it says -3, not 3 so your A step wouldve killed you

its not gonna help you if someone else does it for you.... go to an after school session or get a tutor... YOU need to know how to do it to pass YOUR test.

kk i found out how to do it its..

a) m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) m = (5+3)/3-1) m = 8/2 m = 4
b)

y = mx +b
y = 4x + b
-3 = 4(1) + b
-3 = 4 + b
-3 - 4 = b
-7 = b

y = 4x + -7

c) m = 4

d) m = -1/4

and i asked for help not the answer Pain.. i dont rememebr asking for answers
