Noob to ESF, Need server help Please

I have steam version and every time I try and pick a server it's either password protected or only members from a random slew of numbers and letters can play. Not to mention only about 3 servers pop up. Gotta be more people playing, I know that. Any recommendations or help on creating a server? Also, can you play this game solo against bots, given that I can't solve my server problem, and just for quick practice?Would really appreciate the help.

Change the server filter to filter out empty and passworded servers. There isn't a huge number of servers but you'll usually be able to find a game.

It is also possible to play against bots but they aren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed.

What version are you playing? Make sure it's 1.2.3, as that's the one most people play.
