noob here, clear something up, please

You need half life to run this, right? Cuz on several of the threads it says it will work with cs 1.6, I have cs 1.6 and it doesn't work with that(at least I can't get it to) so would buying the premier pack off of steam allow me to run esf???

ESF will work with CS1.6 as long as it's not from a copy of CZ.

You won't be able to play it with a CZ CD-Key.

If you buy Half-Life 1 you will be able to play.
