no restart in uninstall

why does the program insist on restarting after uninstalling esf? there should be no system files relateing to windows that need to be changed during startup

Are you sure its directly related to the uninstalling of ESF?

no many programs can be uninstalled without restarting to update the registry to my knowlege.... i dont know maybe it was my dad's computer... i just noticed it when i was getting ready to install the new version

If you want anything to work proplerly you should really restart you computer before useing it anyway...
So why moan?

it shudn't be a problem to uninstal esf, it's a mod for hl and not a part of your system.
it doesn't nead to register becours hl picks the mod automaticly, i dont even know wy he did that with you.

Lets see... things need a restart if they change the registry, are sharing libraries, or probably other reasons I don't know about.

It may even be just the uninstall program recommending a restart because the program would do that with anything it uninstalled.

I fail to see how this is an issue.

no, im not concerned, it was just an uneeded procedure, and it was on my dads computer which i dont know the log in password for
