Most likely fake. I've seen similar articles posting the same type of pictures with the logo "Nintendo Infinity" on it.

What's in a name?

Does a Nintendo product by any other name fail less miserably?

"And remember, 'Go' is 'Five' in Japanese and this is their fifth console. So in Japanese it would be liking calling it the Nintendo Five, which isn't so bad."

A quote from one of the posters there.

That is true, "Go" in japanese does mean 5, and this is there fifth console (NES, SNES, N64, GCN), so that just makes this news a bit more interesting. Remember, "Revolution" was supposed to just be a code name. You never know, I just hope its affordable.

I read it somewhere that it would cost around $200, but of course I got that off Digg.

My #1 rule when it comes to Nintendo, don't believe anything you hear until ninty confirms it themselves.

Keep in mind the NES and SNES were called the Famicom and Super Famicon respectively in Japan.

The US name may not change at all.

Even if it does, who cares? It's still a Nintendo console :/
