1) While beam jumping after the beam hits something, sometimes it looks like it rebounded off the side of the wall onto the other side of the map.

2) You can move around while dead: transform (a character that can also descend), die while holding a movement key (like forward), and then you can move about while dead, like jump around.

3) The spectator mode has the sprites weirdly rotated (also, a hud would be nice).

4) First person advanced melee is messed up. The camera zooms away from the fight (suggestion, force camera to go into thirdperson in prepunching sequence and then go back to first person when prepunching/throwing/advanced melee finishes, including headons).

5) In spectator mode, you can't see the arrows and bars that the player can see.

6) Sometimes while throwing someone when you release, they appear right under the the person that threw them, not having moved more than an inch (no, they did not hit the wall, and this occured several times to me already).

7) When walljumping, let's say you hold forward and jump to 'attach' to the wall. If you keep holding those keys when the jump is supposed to happen, you just jump away for not even a second then re-cling to the wall.

8) Sometimes when in advanced melee fight and taking hits, I try to counter them by hitting the key for the corresponding arrows. Rarely (twice so far), I hit the down or right key, which was the wrong key for the arrow, and it worked anyway.

9) Lastly, I seem to have a lot of crashes (to desktop) right when I am about to join a game or immediatly after I joined a game. This, obviously, just may be me.

I've seen 1 and 8, and for 9, sometimes I just crash in the middle of a game, not specifically in the beggining though. I've already brought up the first one, but:

1) if you get too close to the wall, you can't hear the sound effects of advanced melee.

2)Sometimes when someone has been swooping longer than me, and I had just started swooping, I win the engagement for some reason.

3) Someone can be swooping at me while I'm standing there, and rarely I can just knock them back with simple melee

This was known, they know how to fix it, and will later. It's fairly easy to re-create but I won't go into details here.

This was known, but I still don't see why they still have First Person in there.

It's supposed to be like that.

I thought they fixed it, I guess not totally then.

Let go of the direction after you've clung to the walls.

During testing there was actually the opposite problem, you hit the right key, but it was showing up wrong. Didn't know that :).

9) Lastly, I seem to have a lot of crashes (to desktop) right when I am about to join a game or immediatly after I joined a game. This, obviously, just may be me.
Been reported, could you re-create it?

Anyways, nice report :).

It's known, but nobody knows how to fix it :(.

Maybe you hit them from the side, and it just seemed like the front.

Yeah, i don't think its very nice to call the walljumping thing a "bug". You're spose to do it right or it wont work... that's like saying "Help! There's a bug I have to double tap swoop!" .... ::smirkface:: :/

I can re-create it easily. All I have to do is try to open ESF through Steam and connect. If it doesn't crash, I would disconnect and join another. After a while it would crash right when nearing the end (Precaching Resources, I think) or when I just joined the game, it would crash. Always at these points. It seems to crash the most right when I open Steam up and join my first game.

In bug Nº9, does it happen in a server it never happened before and then never again?
because i had a problem like that and it was because of a crappy server.
the moment you say it crashes is the time the console lifts up a little bit, stops, and then pulls up completely dont you?

I have no clue what you just said, but I think you are talking about WON; I use Steam. It happens a lot: it just happened five seconds ago, which is why I am on these forums right now. It happens when it says "Parsing server info" and on any server.

yep
as for 2 In Israel we called that abusing the Ki melee based thingy
and the one used that was called a KI LAMER
since knockback is possible and is exactly like the old melee

I guess that if you swoop l8er you have more ki and if you both try to do
knockback the one with more ki will win the knockback melee thingy
(if both started swooping with full ki then the 1 started swooping after
will get to hit with more ki!)

about the ki lamer thingy
the fact that you can use the new melee adv. cancel this problem for being a bug or a lame thing
tell me if there can be any other way to choose who will get to hit when both do

you know what i have alot of times with advanced melee...

when i need to block.. i push the right buttons.. they all turn green.. but some are still hitting me

and i found out antoher thing today with new models (only saw it with goku)

their new models released.. and today i was playing.. and they were using a different goku model (they told me) and the trow was messed up.. the melee PS was ****ed up.. and the prepunch was ****t up...

btw: i'm using WON

my game only crashes alot when i join a dedicated server when im at the character select menu

Miki there is no ki abuse or lsm abuse in 1.2. If it was a head on then both people would hit.

That occasionally happens to me, and I think it might be because I press tab to show the scores the moment I join, but I haven't confirmed this at all. When it does crash, it gives me the hl.exe illegal operation error and then closes steam.

ive had that happen many times, it pisses me off
Me too and it is still hapenning, right when its dont precaching, right when the map is about to load, or has loaded for about 1 - 2 seconds, it says HL did some illegal operation thing and crashed , i am back at desktop once again. Happened to me about 20+ times and can anyone, for gods sake HELP ME OUT!!!

Thanks for the extensive report, most of this has already been reported by the testers before - and most/all of the above has been fixed for the 1.2.1 patch.
