Newsletter addition once again! HA!

Alright, found another newsletter addition idea, this is for the next weeks issue(not this coming one)

I want you guys to submit poetry in this, doesn't have to rhyme, any type will do (i.e. haiku's, free verse and what not) Then I will take the top five and put it in another thread, for a poll, and the winner gets his/her notice in the newsletter.

POEMS MUST BE ORIGINAL AND FORUM APPROPRIATE

and by all means post all of them right here!

War


Do you want it
The power over it
That which is bane to life
Lover of death

Both chaos and order a part of it
If you are its herald
Glory & Suffering its gift
If you are its victim
Pain and darkness all you will get from it

The Cruel, kind, humane, & insane
All desire it yet fear it
Pray you are never a part of it

It blasts trhough me now
Chasing me through the halls of thought
All my defenceses
Couldn't stop the onslaught
I'm loosing now the battle within
Not for pride or shame ill fight till the end

Twas a place high and bleak
whenst the gawds went to meet
and two men did go
through the soot and the snow

A man made of cheese,
with a scary grin
and a chip on his shoulder
as the oxygen grew thin

Another was green
and composed of one thougt
to kick the spam in the spleen
and make the forum as it ought

So from forumscant
these brave men did go
seeking he called VT
a being of woe

He was an Admin
with a ban axe for sure
but time had warn thin
his time for this war

So passed to them
were the bansaber plans
and a test was given
to see their stance

they built their bansabers
atop mount n00bus it's said
and mowed through the spammers
and waded through the dead

when the dust settled
the bodies were strewn
all about the cleansed forum
under a new moon

and all of the spammies
still cower in fear
at the sound of a ban saber
humming so near

Cheesman and Cucumba
have passed on the art
of making spam trouble
and from the forums apart

Now the legend continues
as new mod knights take hold
of the legends of bansabers
and teh codes of old
