New to skinning

K I'm new to skinning, I just started 10 minutes ago lol. So here's a pic of one i did but it's not good so I was wondering if anyone had any tips. I already saw the tutorial in here and it helped but i can't get folds or designs where i want them. (yeh i used paint shop)

k i said i just figured out how to do it if its wrong can someone tell me what the right way is.

perhaps take art classes and learn how to paint? because skinning is basically painting

Well firstly, I'd suggest starting off with a model that actually has some shape and form so you can get some practice with shading.

However, if you want to do it properly, download some already make and skinned models, open them in Half-life model viewer, export the skin, and skin over it then keep reapplying to the model. That's how I learned. Fool around, but skin models that have substance.
