New Sig Ftw/Ftl?

there is no balance imo, its hard to describe what I mean by that
Its like you took a couple styles and mixed them together, but they just dont work blended together like that. The light blue slightly transparent "Sephiroth" Is hard to look at, and even tho It is a cold color, on a warm backround, it still doesnt stand out... Mainly because the pieces of white behind it ... also the left side is bland ... while there is way too much going on, on the right side.

I noticed all of these things as well. However, I can make sigs rather well.. I still can't get down on how to make the text look good. I have tried so many things, with no positive turnout. If you guys can offer some advice that would be great. I use GIMP.
