If this was already suggested, I apologize.

In DBZ, characters sometimes lock hands, they power up, the auras around them get bigger, they ground gets pushed in, ect. That would be a cool feature in esf. The way it would get activated or started is if 2 people try to melee eachother at the same time. Whoever loses would get hurt, pushed back and get more injured when he/she hits into the wall. The winner would probably get pushed back a little and only receive minimum damage. Energy would be put into the powerstruggle the same way as an energy powerstruggle, by holding left click.

Tell me what you think and if it is possible.

In later release of ESF when the advanced melee system is put in, I'm pretty sure it will have grappling.

Which is basically what you just described. It should definitely be put in to even out the head on melees so the person with the lower ping doesn't always win.

I thought about something else... Deadly PS... Let's say is 2 people shoot at each other strong beams in full power (let say Final Flash Vs Kamehameha) and they are Both SSJ there should be a huge PS (like Cell and gohan)... strong enough that every person from the outside get closer will start losing health and the final blast radius should cover something about half of the map

and you are right. sometimes the aura gets bigger and bigger when they fully consentrate on their on power

If you have that kind of huge ps, ppl around you who are just playing get involved to it cuz half the map??

Then it would be used tons o times to get a huge pl in no time, cuz if half the map blows the winner gets a HUGE pl from all the kills he made+the ps itself.

The idea is cool but dont make it blow half the map, just the person you are ps with. :)

Its similar to you idea, except mine goes into freater deatail about how it would work, and how it wouldnt end up nuking the whole map. Have a look at it you might like it, or you might not..

I like the idea. Like who ever gets close slowly looses PL, like the killblob exept less HP lose.

My idea was that no one other than the people power struggling would lose HP from it. The wind blowing people away is a nice idea but its not practical to have in ESF. MY idea was based around not all power struggles having to have a victor. Even power struggles happen a lot in the series so it makes sense to have then included in the game. THe ki blob at the center of the beams would signify the how even the pls of the 2 fighters were.

A melee power struggle would be a very neat idea, I think. Implementing a little more focus on the physical aspect of being a super-powered being could be a swing in the right direction.

Adding a bit of "wind" from a couple of extremely powerful characters in a physical power struggle to me says that all the players will turn and take notice. Don't make this wind hurt surrounding players, just make it move them enough to notice something weird is going on. It would be here that showing off some flashy graphics would be a good idea. Intense lights and the dust effect used when powering up would be ideal.

This could also be taken one step further and used to lock two players in a sky fight. I have found that engaging in melee combat can be very disorienting, to the point where I lose complete track of my opponent and he has the same problems, ESPECIALLY when we both decide to teleport and whatnot. If two players fly at each with the swoop, then why not cause a vicious clash, some wind, and a mad clicking frenzy where both fighters basically punish their mouse for ever existing.

Ah, it's early and I'm in front of a keyboard. I think I'll quiet down now and see what you guys think.

The wind idea is really cool. I never would have thought of that.
