when drawing u should really try not to use refference pics. because freehand actually shows how well u can draw. when u have a refference pic its really just copying lines.

it could use some work but good attempt

This one is freehand. Yeah it needs some work but its the first freehand ive got that is actually mostly in proportion ^.^

Took me about 1 hour 45 for this. Incuding cging.

Looks real nice CGed . . . some areas you want to concentrate on are fingers and hands, the right eye and the nose are out of position (and the eye is out of proportion). The shoulders slump to much, try and keep the top of her shoulders level with the high points of the collar bone. Keep in mind that these are minor things but they are noticable. Sweet job for a refrenceless pic.

Looking good, Ryoko. The CGed version adds a lot too it. And it's extremely good for a freehand drawing.

For a first freehand, i think its pretty sweet. I do all my work freehand, but i never base it off of any actual anime characters, just my own original stuff, but for an anime character, no reference, thats nice.

I don't wan't to hurt your feelings but you could of done alot more .i'm not here to trash your work but to give you tips.

Ok first tip always put in shadows .On my very first manga drawing .When I tought up my own DBZ char "Foozaru" cuz by acciden't I got his face to look like a one of a monkey .
I wish I had a scanner but i'm planning to get one .
So I could show all my other pics.
