Anime just doesn't ever translate well to live action ever. The reason it's a cartoon is people flying around and making big stupid faces looks pretty terrible on film.


Although Db:E will always have a special place in my heart. I heard it existed after it had been on DVD for months, so me and the homies got tore up and got a good laugh for 90 minutes.

Live-action anime adaptations CAN be done well, it's just that it's ALWAYS the wrong ****in' director to do it. I mean, look at kung fu hustle. It was a joke film and it still had some of the smoothest wire-based stunts i've seen in a movie.
