Im glad to finally see a change of government in Canada. For as long as I can remember, the liberals have held power, so Im eager to see what this new government will do. This was also the first time Ive been able to vote, so I did my civil duty and voted.

How does everybody feel about the new government?

Senate, Overlord.

Anyway, I dunno how your government system is structured in Canada, so I wish the best for your county, and good luck to the NCM!

Well, if Harper keeps his promises, he'll overturn women's rights to abortion, and revoke gay's right to marry.

Congratulations Canada, you stand up for gays and women, and refuse to support the war in Iraq, and then elect a man who wants to do the exact opposite. If you really wanted change that badly, you could have at least elected the NDP. Not the man whose platform is similar to that of George Bush. Last time I checked, I live in Canada, we don't need another reason for people to call us America Jr.

Thank god it's a minority. I give him a year before he loses a confidence vote and we have another election.

Sorry folks, political discussion is not allowed.

I should have caught that, but I'm still reeling from the results. O.P|
