GFX: Radeon HD4870 1GB
CASE: antec 900

Built it myself- I know it's not the best machine around but still keeps me pretty happy. I'll post some photos if anyone wants them.

True, the fanspeed is 29% stock. So try to edit your profile .xml file and turn it up to 50-70%, but it will make a jet noise..

I don't quite see what that superpi proves? Mine took one second longer but it was only using less that %25 of my cpu, and I've yet to overclock anything in my rig.
Anyway:

Also all my screens are running vsynced at 75fps w/ 8xaa and 16xaf, Oblivion does skip down to 60fps sometimes tbh.

Crashing with some strange squares artefact etc. ATi driver is kinda weird on this one. The Powerplay is the issue here.

Huh? This computer has not crashed once yet.

I'm just using the latest ati drivers for 4800 series cards. I've always owned ati cards and have never had problems with them, artifacts or otherwise.

Weird, only on Sapphire 4xxx series have problems with the powerplay. Gues you guys are lucky with a different brand of card.

Yep it does, but that's because of Fan running on 29% like the 8800GT (Also had this one before my 4870).

I have a tool for that to raise the speed of the fan wich will fix the whole issue.
