so I've decided its finally time to upgrade my good old comp (athlon64 3000+, 2gig Ram, 6600GT) or more like ... replace it since I can't really re-use anything of my old comp except my HDD's

But ... I've been kinda out of the loop for a while when it comes to hardware stuff so I could need some advice if the stuff is halfway decent and goes together well and whatnot

Gainward GF9800GTX+
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+, 512 MB, 256 Bit, PCIe 2.0 x16
155,-*

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit
Windows, DE, 1 User, CD-ROM / DVD-ROM
84,-*

AMD Phenom X4 9950
4x 2600 MHz, 4x 512 kByte, 4000 MT/s (HyperTransport), Agena
154,-*

Boxed Cooler

34Pin Floppy, 3,5 Zoll, 1,44 MB
8,90*

Iiyama ProLite E2403WS-B1
24 Zoll, 1920x1200 Pixel, 1000 : 1
324,-*

Corsair CMPSU-520HX
520 Watt, ATX12V 2.2, EPS, 4 Stecker, 6 Stecker
94,-*

Sharkoon Revenge Economy-Edition Case
4 x 5,25" extern, 6 x 3,5" intern, ATX
32,-*

DVD-Brenner IDE
Sony NEC Optiarc AD-7173A
18 / 8 / 8 fach, 18 / 6 / 8 fach, Ultra DMA/33, 16 / 48 fach
24,-*

2x Fans
Scythe Slip Stream SY1225SL12L
120x25x120 mm, 68,2 m³/h, 10,7 dB(A), 800 U/min.
15,80*

Mainboards Sockel AM2+
MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum
nForce 750a SLI, 5.200 MT/s, onboard, 2x PCIe 2.0 x16, SLI, Sockel AM2+
124,-*

Seagate ST3500320AS 500 GB
500 GB, 8,5/32/7200, € 0,11*, Serial ATA/300
54,-*

GeIL DIMM 4 GB DDR2-800 Kit
4096 MB, CL4 4-4-12, 2, PC2 6400
84,-*

Total:€ 1.153,70*
Note: I'm going for an AMD cpu because I want to use Hybrid SLI and its only available on chipsets for AMD cpu's right now (750a SLI and 780a SLI)
So suggestion an Intel CPU is pointless
Saving power = saving money ... :)

I'm planning to use that thing for at least 2 years if not even 3 btw

so ... suggestions? Comments?

(this is thread #1000 in tech bench btw :D)

Well you get more power with this, and pay less for power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139004

for the HDD im not sure about the Seagate since I heard it is manufactured in China and some products go out well and some **** up, I say go for the Western Digital or Samsung. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073

The video card, well im not sure what the PC is for but I do think the HD 4850 will give better performance for about the same price: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131118

And I think MSI isn't a good company, go for Gigabyte or Asus.

I didn't understand which case you are about to buy.

Hey, that case is cool.

Did you already received your system?

Those AMD Phenom's are really being sold like a animal.
