I got my computer in some setting where when i play a game like esf, the original resolution like 800x600 wont strech to meet fullscreen and is just a small box with a black screen around it. Until now ive just set my game resolutions to 1200x1600 or so, but i cant do that for Oblivion which i just installed, its slows the game too much. I need to know how to get the smaller resolutions to stretch to fullscreen like it was a while ago.

ESF runs on a seven-year-old engine, whereas Oblivion is one of the most graphically demanding games of this time. You're definately not going to have as well of performance in Oblivion as you do in ESF.

Rayne--do you have an ATI card? If so, right click the ATI icon on the lower right corner. Settings--> Device Settings.

Click the "Display" Tab.

Select your monitor, and click on the tab at the top.

You should see a circle, checked or not that says "SCALE IMAGE TO PANEL SIZE."

If you want it to stretch the image to fullscreen, you have to make sure it's CHECKED. Depending on the type of your monitor, you may be able to blow it up through the monitor's On-Screen-Display, like my L2335 can.
