Need help with Bots

I read the FAQs and in there is says to press "=" on the keyboard to get the bots menu so you can use bots. I pressed "=" in the create server menu, I pressed "=" on the main menu, and I pressed "=" while I am in the game and it does not seem to bring up the bot menu can someone please help me?

What version are you using?
You should also note that you can only control and manipulate bots if you are the one who created the server.

I am using version 1.2.3 and I am making the connection and when I am in a game that I am hosting I can't get into the bot menu

Go into options. So to key configuration.

The last 3 keys are for bots
