i need help whit 2 things pleace =O ..

1: if i want to play in a server its say's somthing about valid steam account id :S

2: ow and i cant see al the models but i have download the EVM model pack :S

Try deleting your steamregistry.blob

BTW ists called ClientRegistry.blob

First, are you using a legal copy of Half-life?
Second, if so which version of Half-Life? You need to have the latest version, if you have an older version it probably uses WON, not Steam, while ESF can play on this version, it's really meant to be played on Steam.
Go to Steams website and register as a new user if you have not already done so. Next choose activate a game on steam. Enter your CD Key from your copy of Half-life. You will then have a legitamately registered version of Half-Life. Now you may have to download from Steam a current version of Half-Life (if you registered with a legitamate cd key it won't cost you anything). Then re-install ESF.

You need to get it updated.

you should be able to register that copy on steam, then you will need to reinstall everything i am afraid if the following:

is your half-life in the folder "c: \sierra\half-life"

if so you will need to reinstall everything

if it is in the folder "C: \Program Files\Valve\Steam\steamapps\ *** YOUR STEAM USER ACCOUNT NAME ***\half-life

then you should be okay. Just make sure you are logging into your steam account properly.
