Ok, this is the deal: I got GMax and MilkShape 3D, and I think GMax is much easier, but can I use it to create models for ESF? If I can't, how do use MilkShape 3D? 'Cause I don't know how to work the **** thing! (I can use MilkShape 3D to model for ESF, can't I?)

Please reply soon... I can only use MilkShape 3D for 31 days!

I believe that GMax can be used fo HL..a few people use it here.

Don't quote me on that, though.

Really?

It would be so cool if that's true! Anyone here who can confirm that GMax can be used to make HL models?

AFAIK gmax wasn't going to have support for HL even as a plugin so unless someone has made one you cant use gmax for esf or any HL. 3dsm has a plugin for hl so you can use that and milkshape was pretty much made for it.

if your going to model its handy to learn ms3d purely because it relies more heavily on vertex modeling (placing the vertex and making the faces yourself) i learned from most of the following
