When i'm making the materials with: ambient,diffuse,specular,emissive it's looking allright but when i compile the model, ingame and in mdlviewer it's looking like nothing changed ....like the first time ....

As far as I remember, those things don't... apply to HL1 models. The bitmap (skin) you apply is what you'll see. You can add other effects like chrome and additive transparency, but you can do that through the model viewer itself rather than manually editing the QC file.

MilkShape supports a wide variety of games, so it may not entirely offer everything a certain engine has to offer, or it may offer things that the engine itself doesn't take advantage of.

Yep you're right that's only for style and only in ms3d you can see, i documented in that.... ^^

Even if you're a newbie modeller, modelling chat goes in Modelling / Skins.

hl1 does not support those maps hl2 does i think why dont you try it in hl2 ?
