Doesnt really show much of the gameplay.

Personally im not a fan of NFS. To arcadelike.

I want my damn car to be breakable. Hence why i LOVED GRID and why i didnt really play NFS.

Whats with that simulation and real world physics bull****.

The way the car handles in the second vid is preety arcade with lots of side forces. In the real world hed spin out a lot mode than he did judging by the steering wheel movements and car sliding.

Steering in nfs was and will allways be arcade talking about 'real phisics' is just pure bs.
How can we speak about realism when u press break button only when u need to go reverse ;-)

They want this game to sell so forget about real drive experiance forever.
Real symulation games are super hard therefore first time experiance with them is ussualy bad. Like with esf 1.2.

My favorite of all nfs was also porsche 2000. Test driver mode FTW!

Come on, GT and NFS are two different games. They say that the NFS shift is more based to simulation racing hence the new game developers "SMS" also known of GTR GTR2 etc.

The car handles pretty normal in game though, Dont forget that those videos all have driving AIDS on. You can just turn it off if you want.

but if you guys want hardcore sim game?

Then check out "Live for speed".

Oh i checked it out allright. Superb. Problem is i dont have a steering wheel. And thats bad with LFS
You can try with a keyboard, or mouse.. The multiplayer system is like HL2 or any other shooting game.. There is no lobby, its just joining a track :).

If you want more info you can pm me, Cause were going too much out of topic :smile:

I haven't played NSF much, but I liked the sandbox... they should go back to it.

The drag racing is awesome, though.

Gran Turismo has always been good for people who like heavy cars, and shoving people into turns from the inside, as you pass them.

I don't like NFS Shift. I'm taking as Undercover a bit better even though it sucked too. After NFS Carbon they sucked.

actually...NFS Shift was a surprise for me, it was actually good hell, the game is taking up a shape on a simulation type game more than an arcade, in my opinion its one of the better NFS games out there...
Graphics are nice, physics and damage aswell, in all honesty I expected to say the game is crap..but its pretty good...
