Alright, so I toyed around with making a signature (havn't made one in a while), and I came up with this:

But.. the text is kinda bothering me. Can anyone give me some crits/comments?

that sig reminds me of a tutorial on making a prince of persia siggy... on www.good-tutorials.com ... If you want to make that render look cool add some fogs underneath it. and as mf29 said... "border! YUK!"

Do you think a 2 pixel black border would look a bit nicer? (By the way, thanks for the comments guys. :D)

-Also, Moma, what do you mean by fogs? (I'm still a nub at this..).. also, that website you linked to rules. Glad you did that.

That border is very good, just not in this case because it does not flow or match with the rest of the signature. But anyhow, the text placement is good, but it's monotone, and the bg could use some work.

just flatten your image if your finished editing it, save it first.

then go to edit, select all, edit stroke, 1 pixel, inside

set the color to black and thats it.

would be cooler if it had a differant render.

Fixed:

And ZeroNightmare, thanks for the advice, but I know how to put borders on. ;)

Edit: Also, I can always change out the render if I want, I just put it in and feather it -> select inverse -> delete. That gives it that look.
