pretty cool map , it gives you the excitement of the game , but you don't have a life source or some models ...

Yes but just to see how it works, i still need to make something in the empty space on the top, find a good sky, put some models and make some lights, btw some sugestion to where should i but lights?

Lights...go to entity toolbar, select environment_lights then in the 3d view click on the skybox, you'll see it half in the skybox and half in air, then you're done. Oh and go to the entity's properties and play around with pitch value to get different shading.

Oh and about the pic, you need to use www.imageshack.us or something then register then you can upload pics, they'll give you a code, just copy that code in the post and it will either be a link to an image or an image that you see in the actual post.

You can add some water , maybe a oasis with some plants that i made :p and some palm trees.

i'd say put a few cacti around, street lamp posts along the road with a truck, car, etc. you can put rocks of varied sizes around the area

Looks pretty sweet. Is that map made with the 2048 texture technique?
And about the top flat area, I'll go with imkongkong, that would look cool.

First pic is so smaaall, but there's nothing you can do about those textures, all hl1 maps looks like that if you have that many curves, don't worry, doesn't look that bad. oh btw can you pls (If you want) post some maps showing off your map, because that video was pretty low quality.

LOL, sorry i posted the link for the thumbnail, but it's fixed now and u will get my point.
And to explain furter...
When i'm in some certain spots on the map part's of it disappear.

Looks like a compiling error. Could be caused by an invalid brush form.

Can you post a screenshot of what you mean?

It is posted. It's a fiew post up.

I said invalid brush in hammer >.>

It causes the error.

It isnt the only thing but its the most comon thing.

I apologize for that, I didn't see it before my previous reply. Grega's right, it's due to a invalid brush or invalid brushes. Are you using triangle brushes for those areas that disappear? Usually the error occurs more when you use the block method.

Yup that seems to be it. i used blocks there to reduce face count i'll try to fix it. Anyways when i hit alt-p it says that there are no errors.
