Oh yeah after seeing Yo-moma's Tensa Zangetsu i decided to try modelling my own on my milkshape3d trialware. Well after couple of hours i came up with this:

I'm trying to rig it into The specialist mod to replace Katana but i dont know if can skin it. And the chain on the end is still missing, dont know if ill add it at all.
C&C please.

hmm push right mouse on the 3d viewport and select "draw backfaces" so there is no arrow on this option, then you see some faces looking into the wrong place, select them and then push ctrl+shift+f (flip face/polygon)

otherwise cant crit it enough, looks good.

here ya go! it's a straight blade so i think theres no need to show the middle part closer.
But if you want i can show some...

Edit: Okay i ran into a problem.... Somehow im not able to form a face... i click on 3 vertexes with the face tool then it says "Create Face: vertex "#" selected (3. vertex in face)" but i dont see a face anywhere...
Another edit: Okay i figured it out myself. i just regrouped the handle i'm tryin to connect to the protector.

hehe good old days of milkshape 3D... I bet you will run into 3Ds max soon,
katana is looking cool, just some weird unneeded polys at the end of the blade.

Model is quite close to ready now. Is there proper skinmapping tutorial somewhere for ms3d (or is it possible to skinmap with ms3d?).
