So, here's a story to make you people rofl and stuff.

first day at my new job at the video store.

I wake up, I eat breakfast (which is unusual for me) down a few glasses of water and take off for work. I arrive there, get shown the ropes kind of, and I'm working on tagging previously viewed movies to put on the shelf.

about halfway through, I get lightheaded.
shrugging it off, I keep going.

it gets worse.

so I ask where the bathroom is, just in case I might be dehydrated (which was strange because I had water and I was in an A/C building)

next thing I know, I hear the manager's voice (thank god no customers were in the store)
Josh?
Josh?

I'm on the ground at this point, my face is covered in blood.

I randomly blacked out for about a half minute, on the way down my head clipped the edge of the counter. Pwned.

I go back to work tuesday.

You're suffering from a disease called afraidtoworkitis.. Quite a few younger people have this disease, there isn't really a cure, apart from staying home gaming all day.

Good luck for tuesday!

I actually have no problems working and dealing with people, this isn't my first job, just my first day at a new job.

You don't know why you were lightheaded o_O

If it's like something in the store that makes you pass out, that new job may be gone =/

You, uh, may want to get that checked out. Random blacking out = bad.

I was taking it very seriously at first, especially when I didn't get my blood test and catscan results. It is a serious issue, but if I saw the video of it I'd probably laugh my ass off.

Jesus. Get that dealt with O_O
All the medical things were taken care of, I got admitted to the ER immediately ( I couldn't walk, was vomiting, etc.)
Even though it was a ****ty first impression, it was out of my control, so I won't get fired or anything, and if I do (I can't afford a lawyer) they settle all their cases via arbitrator, it would be a bad move for them if I got fired due to it :p

as said before, I wasn't nervous at all, this isn't my first job, I'm comfortable with people and stuff, was just a blood sugar spike.

What caused the blood sugar spike?
a lack of blood sugar.

joking aside - no clue, doctor said I need to basically eat a bit more protein and just stay steady on fluids for a few weeks.
(I've been skipping multiple meals a day lately for some reason, and I gotta start eating regularly again)

I'd really watch something like this, it can lead to certain things.
