Mugen problem

Whenever i try to play mugen, the game starts, asks me if i wanted to change the resolution, but all the keys (except the windows key combinations) stop responding.
I have win xp+sp1. and an ps/2 keyboard (logitech internet navigator).
My regional settings are set to croatian, but in does't work even when changing everything to english-UK.
Please... help...

any mugen games, personally, i've mostly tried to enable the dbz millenium edition. But if you've heard about the ultimate boot cd (it is an iso image of a 190 mb large boot disk, excellent stuff, can recognize more than 150 file systems) it has a dos user interface that kinda looks like bios. The keyboard wont even respond there... so i think it could be a system-related problem...
