You could try to reinstall MSN. Have you run a scan with any updated AV software?

I don't know, since I don't use the MSN client, but trillian. But I'm not 100% sure if it would help, since I don't really know how those messenger worms work.

MSN is f*cked up. It sometimes does send links when the person that your chatting with didn't give it to you. Try using another antivirus software to get rid of it.

Google the hell out of it, thats how i fixed mine. Just be sure to crush it before it kills your computer.

1. Google at least 20 pages with the name of that Worm.
2. If you can't get the problem solved in that time, proceed to either :
a. Reinstall Windows ASAP.
b. If it doesn't affect anything outside of MSN, switch to other IM client. Trust me, there are millions of times better than the regular Windows live messenger, if not including windows live plus that enables better logging and encryption, etc ( Such as Pidgin, Trillian , Matter of taste tbh ).

I say just reinstall msn, its probaly better without all the cusom emoticons and so on then having to reinstall windows again, if the errors or what not aint fixed then i guess you would have to find another solution

Reinstalling MSN isn't gonna solve ****. I fixed this exact same problem on my PC a few months ago.. but i cant remember what websites i went to to fix it. Just keep running Anti-virus apps and spybot in safe mode. If that doesn't work, then you might need to resort to more drastic methods.

Doesn't this belong in the tech section?

Edit: I should read threads through all the way. Ignore this post. :/
