Well here I am again, with more questions about Servers.

For starters, what are some REALLY good Server Specs that won't Crash ESF.
Windows OS only thanks =]

Also - What might cause ESF to crash, ++ ways to fix it.

Anything else on improving a dedicated server?

Can't tell ya good specs since I don't host an ESF server, but I can link you to this thread, which almost everyone on the board has seen. That's really all you need.

If that didn't help you, then there's no helping you. Buy a better rig. That's your best option for increasing performance at this point.

Know anything about that??
Becuase I've noticed that ESF tends to push the Half-Life engine a fair bit.

And I frickin' told you that I wouldn't know what the optimal specs for an ESF server are, because I don't host an ESF server, nor do I play ESF any more.

Just upgrade to a dual core CPU, and then buy another stick of RAM if you really think it'll help. That's what I'd do if it were my server.

For ESF. Specs that'll provide excellent ESF gaming with out crashes caused by 10 spirit bombs being thrown everywhere.

A lot of the bugs can't be fixed outside of the ESF team.

Actually, you technically asked for help from every person on this forum. That includes me. I gave you good advice, but you rejected it. How is that my fault? Exactly, it isn't.

True, I did ask everyone, but obviously you havn't given me the right answer. So your help is not needed. I need someone who actually "knows" the answer, instead of linking me to a page that'll help someone play esf.

-_- come on guys, quit it. Guzzie, I'm about there is no answer related to your crash question. They always happen, and there isn't much you can do about it. Unless you are able to find the exact cause of the "problem", and create an AMXX plugin for it for the attack (if that will be the case) to be blocked.

But as said, crashes always happens. My server barely crashes, so I don't really see a problem. As for your Server Secs questions. I highly doubt that low server specs would crash the server, it would more lag the server with every one in it.

I have no idea what the exact best specs would be, but I'd say above 2ghz, and a lot of ram as that is highly required. (Above 1GiG at least) to have a good performance.
