Mizuho sig, Hippo needs help!

I was browsing around for a new wallpaper today and found this ACE scan of one of my favourite anime characters and decided that I really want Mizuho Kazmi on my signature. I tried fiddling on photoshop but art has never been my strong point, here's what I came up with:

So I am really looking for something better than that. Here is the original scan:

I haven't managed to get the crisp look on the signature I created above, but I want something similar. Either way, I'm sure it would look much better if made by someone who knows what he/she is doing and has been working with signatures for a long while (hence knows what looks best). The font I've used on the text is 'Mistral', I would like the width to be 500 pixels and the height somewhere between 125 and 150. Can anyone please help me by making a signature out of that image? Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. ^_^

I did put a clear warning on the file size . And I watch tons of anime, that image is a fan service poster released by the studio that made Onegai Teacher which is nothing like the ecchi/perverted animes that float around (stuff like Maburaho and Girls Bravo which suck in my opinion, brain dead comedy with nothing but fan service gets boring after the first two episodes).

That is the best signature made yet out of that image, nice one! But it's only the face T_T, hmm decisions decisions.

Hmm true but now that I think about it the image isn't going to look nice compressed when you try to fit more than just the face vertically. I'm going to go with Ryoko's sig, with a tweak request:

1.) Change the font to Mistral, I sent it to Orion a while ago.
2.) It's grOOvy not Groovy or Gr00vy or GrOOvy. Please change the spelling on both the white and the background text.
3.) Maybe change the faded eyes in the centre to a faded chest shot? Pervert alert! Nah, it'll make the sig look better. ^_^ Optional change.
4.) Get off FFXI!
