Does anyone know how I can merge two AVI files?

So the next will play after the first one is done?

VirtualDub should be good enough. When you load the first video into VirtualDub, go to "File" and select "Append AVI segment...". Navigate to where the second video is and load it. Now, you need to save the two videos as one new one, but first, you need to set up a few things. Go to "Video" and select "Compression...". A new window should pop up. You can select any codec as long as your video meets the requirements in the "Format restrictions" box. However, picking the right codec tends to be a pain. Some are better than others, though I don't remember which one is the "best".

Just to give you a warning, the two videos you're joining must be exactly the same. Same codec, same bitrate, same resolution, etcetera.
