I was just wondering if there are .ms3d or .3ds importers for Maya6?

not sure about that but try using the obj format.

Heh I have no choice, the only 3-D program im using is maya. I have an ms3d and 3ds versions of a model in need of skinning. So I need somehow to get it into maya.
