I like the color and the image, but the font area is where I am concerned. The black font is fine, it's the grayish font behind it that throws it off. I recommend removing it.

take your box select tool and select inside your 1st black border (then stroke > inside stroke 1 pxl), no do the same for your new border.

background is an overused tutorial. and I don't really like the font. I do like the placing of the pic and colors used etc,.

so overall, it's not bad. but it could use some work.
