Lots of us, thinks that power struggles are cool, but not suited in a freestyle battle with lots of people in the server.
So what if there were maps with Objective based Game Modes?
I'm talking for a map where the good side will have to protect a spaceship for like 5 min and then escape with it(they have to go next to the ship), while the evil side is trying to destroy it before the time of 5 min ends.
To destroy the spaceship or even Trunk's time machine, they will have to use powerful beams, spirit bombs, etc.
They can do damage if they throw people on it, but it will be really really low. Remember we want to make use of the beautiful power struggles.
When the round ends, the two teams will switch sides.
The good side will see things like that:
While the evil side has to look at the spaceship to know how much % left.
The spaceship/time machine spawn place will be random and only 1-2 guys (depends on the numbers of each team) from the good side will spawn next to it. The others and the evil side have to search for it as fast as they can.
My suggestion is to be 5 vs 5 (or the max 10 vs 10) for more controlled matches.
There will be an option to repair the spaceship, the player has to go next to it and start pressing a button the faster the better. Every time he/she presses the button the spaceship will be repaired by 00.10% or 00.05% so if all the team members gather to repair, the ship won't go to 100% way too fast.
This way: the teams have to work together, more power struggles and more chatting in game.
