Maps sugestions

can the esf team do some maps whit less sprintes on them (CELL games has a lot of Tree on them , i don't hate trees but my pc fps is down to 10 - 15 fps ,and after all the tree on the map destroyd i'v got up to 20 - 30 fps and it kept at 30 fps ,esf_city and rosat ar the best in FPS why ?

Why do you have so little fps, what specs are you running at? Anyways, trees are models, not sprites, but they do add quite a few sometimes, I agree, but the only way is to destroy the trees, lol.

But most of the trees in 1.3's maps wont' all be rendered, like the HFIL maybe, it's the way they map them, but the team is pushing hl engine to it's limits and I'm sure some people might lag with it, btw, have yo gone to the threads that tell you abbout -fps and ping, etc, they help alot.

buy a new pc. If your fps is that bad, its time to upgrade.

John i know how you feel. That was my usual FPS 3 months ago.


It dosent help much but it helps a little. Defrag your disks. And scan for spyware and addware.

Normaly when i did that my FPS got a boost of 3 FPS ^^


But than again i wasnt all that bad with the crapy FPS i had XD
