Hi, I want to show some of my work:

hmm, not that bad. the namek one looks rather undetailed, im sure there are a few more r_speeds left to spend into some detail...
about the other map, the darkness looks ugly .. better use darker light instead of blue light.

Looks promising I think. But just like DJ said, adjust the lighting a bit. Then it will look a lot better.
