Mapping Or Modeling? Which Is Easier?

Can anyone tell me which one they think is easier? I really wanna start doing one of them, but I wanna know which is easier. So can anyone just reply and lemme know?

My guess would be modeling, because it's smaller and won't take as much time.

No, mapping is much easier. How much easier is probably opinion, but making a model model takes much more work and time than making a basic map.
I tried both, and I like mapping much better. You should try both and decide for yourself.

Yeah, I'd rather get into mapping. But I wanna find a really good in depth tutorial that tells you what to do every step of the way. If anyone knows where I can find one like that please let me know. I've checked several ones from stickies here and haven't found what I'm lookin for. So if ya find one, please lemme know.

Depends on what your skills major in, if you are a very detailed person, try modeling, if not give mapping a shot
